Why Choose Us? Well...
Most business owners can probably tell you some sort of horror story about a time that they employed someone in order to do SEO on their website. Either they were promised the moon and someone under-delivered, or even worse, they could have lost all of their traffic or their entire website altogether because of the mass level of inadequacy that unfortunately pervades this field. I was doing some research, and it seems that out of all of the people that are entering this industry or trying their hand at it, not even 30% of the people or companies that claim that they are experts actually know what they are doing. Meaning they don't have firsthand experience with building a website, ranking it, generating leads, and increasing profit. They don't have any sales experience, let alone experience with anything like increasing lead conversion, securing customers, and maintaining a healthy business relationship with constant updates, communication, and professionalism. Considering that an increase in profits or an expansion is why most business owners are looking at SEO in the first place, these facts are a little bit scary. Not to fear, we've got you covered. If we don't, we can at least point you in the right direction.
Experience
Because of the low start-up cost of (basic) SEO, many people have been trying their hand in it, entering this $68 billion dollar a year industry in the hopes of becoming rich. What people find, just like I did when I started, is that it is anything but easy and quick. Through connecting with successful people in this industry, learning through trial and error, and through simple persistence, I have learned A LOT. I started my dive into this online world about 6 years ago, and I saw firsthand the plethora of misinformation about all of this stuff was enough to make my head spin, not to mention can easily confuse a business owner that wants to learn. Especially if they are thinking about doing it themselves. What I find the most, is that these new SEO people are using their new customers websites for practice without their knowledge, while claiming they have expertise.
Meaning: They haven't even set up any of their own websites and learned by trial and error which, is really the only way to do anything.
Kind of scary.

Honesty
My goal in launching my own business, website, and agency is to create STRONG and meaningful business relationships locally in Richmond and possibly surrounding areas/states with small business owners in order to establish myself in the industry. I AM NOT going to take every client that comes my way. This is another big mistake that I've see a lot of new people make. Taking on projects out of their depth or outside of their staffing power or simply lying and saying they can handle something when in reality they have NO IDEA.
A lot of people think a flashy website is going to attract customers and convert leads. The simple fact is, in a technological age where we spend so much of our time on our phones and online, our attention spans have become more fractured. This means, the majority of the time, most of your website will probably not even get interacted with. Your customer wants to know if they can trust your business, what the price is and how to contact you. It is up to us to catch them there and to create an avenue where you are able to offer more services to them and therefore increase your profit. In my experience, straightforward websites with a contact form and the basic information a customer needs to know will convert SO much more business than one that has all sorts of colors and designs and distracts them. Trust me on this.
What I'm going to focus on is CONVERSION. If I do take you on as a new customer, my first goal is going to figure out whether I can help you or not. If you are looking to expand your business, get to the top of the search rankings on Google, get your phone ringing, possibly hire more people, then we might be a good match. Where do you want to end up? What are your goals? This is going to be what I will want to find out first and foremost. If I can't help you get there, or if you simply just want a good-looking website for your art portfolio, we probably aren't a good match.

Mistakes
The only way to learn is to fail. Just like most people, I learned this the hard way. I was just like any hopeful young 20 something year old looking for a way out of clocking in at a 9-5. This led to a long journey of research, paying for and joining "guru" workshops and webinars, classes and memberships that really only told me what I would have already learned if I just went into it headfirst without fear of failure. I'm 32 years old now, and over the course of the last 6 years, I have learned enough to be able to confidently accept and deny certain clients, and to accurately give a description of what I will be able to do for them. I believe in transparency. If a client wants to know exactly what I am going to do to get them where I say I will, I have no problem explaining and showing you. Most likely, you don't have time for that and will want the basics. On paper, it seems like a short check list. In reality, it is hours and hours of time spent online doing tasks ranging from very complicated to something as simple and basic as data entry over and over, and every project is different. Put simply, anyone can make a website. Anyone can enter some data over and over. Learning the ins and outs of this industry, ranking a site, getting it to the top of google, converting customers and engaging with them correctly in order to increase sales, however, will take years of trial and error. If you are a business owner, then you know some of this already. SO, this is what I bring to the table.
About Me
My name is Blake, and I was born here in Virginia at St. Mary's hospital in Richmond. I have a background in sales first and foremost. I have worked for a major bank, a couple of major insurance companies, and for other companies in between. I've held numerous different licenses for all of these things and achieved success with each one. Besides sales, I have experience in the trucking industry, in the construction industry, in the food and beverage industry, and in the transportation industry. I've worked in environments ranging from completely casual to fully secured and corporate. I have lived in many places across the United Stated and am aiming to be able to visit many more places outside of it. I like to eat healthy; I practice meditation, I like to spend time with friends and family. I have a 2-year-old dog that I love, and I like to spend any of the rest of my time either working on something or having a rare day of relaxation. All in all, I'm a pretty simple and normal guy.
Services
Since there are so many flashy sites out there promising this or promising that, and everything has about a hundred different customization options, I am going to keep this very simple and am going to offer THREE main things for right now. I am focusing on:
-Providing business owners comprehensive and accurate information
-Scaling smaller business owners by building a strong foundation online
-Working with business owners starting up or already established who need to increase sales and conversions
-Providing business owners comprehensive and accurate information

A. You Want To Know What's Going On
This is going to be a full and comprehensive on AND off page SEO audit which will include all of the information you need to succeed. This will not simply be a report with some numbers and colorful graphs, this will be a full report, along with an in-person meeting with me, or a zoom call if this is more convenient for you. We will go over everything together so that we both are certain that the other has a clear understanding of where you are trying to go, and so that you understand completely and wholly EXACLTY what you need to do in order to get there, along with any actions that you need to avoid.
B. You Need Leads/Sales
If you are focused on generating local leads and converting them into sales in order to scale, this is the right option for you. This includes a site, search engine listings, calls directly to your business phone, and support and help from yours truly in order to keep things smooth and streamlined. Hell, I'll even help you close a deal or two if you need me to in order to demonstrate my commitment to you and to get the ball rolling.
C. You Need A Website
If you just need a simple website for an art portfolio or and you aren't concerned with ranking a site, you can really get that anywhere. Hire some kid in college to do it, you won't be disappointed if you do a little research on the person. Until I scale myself fully and am able to hire someone to do this, this option simply just isn't worth my time. It takes too much time and without any residual business attached to it, it won't really fit into my plans. I have no problem offering advice or providing answers to questions if you are a business owner and looking around, however. I will be very direct and honest with you about what to expect. What most people start with is a basic website. They DO plan to scale and rank their site afterwards though, and in order to do that later you WILL need the correct bare bones and setup for your site. This is where I can help if you want that specific setup. If you just want something that looks professional with some good visuals, you can really find that for pretty cheap anywhere online or around you.
THATS IT!
