If You Already Have A Site
If you already have a website, we will need to figure out whether or not it can be optimized for success for you to reach the goals you set. Unfortunately, once someone takes certain actions online and connects different domains and links to a site, often times the site is unsalvageable. What I have seen the most when I start combing through a site that a client wants improved is: quite simply, a mess. For example, someone with a marketing website does not necessarily need to be connecting to sports websites, different unrelated blogs, and all sorts of content that is not specific to the niche. This is what I see 90% of the time when I start looking at taking a client on. The surprising thing is, I usually see this with the sites competitors as well. It is typically a mess out there. The good news is that no one usually knows what they are doing and are just throwing things at the wall to see if they stick. This means that with a targeted plan of action and information on your competition, there is going to be a clear and direct way to get ahead of them.
This is achieved by outlining a plan and sticking to it. There is no point in connecting to every business site, piece of content, related blog, or spamming something with fake reviews. Most times, the less action you take with a site, the better. Meaning, it is better to have two high-quality links with relevant information related to your area of expertise specifically rather than a spiderweb network of frankly...well...crap. Most times from what I see, if you are already coming to me, you will probably need a fresh site.

New Site
If you DO need a new site, most times it will probably be a lot less complicated and will take less time. The big benefit to this is it will be SO much more cost effective than completely re-working a site with a bunch of bad links or content that simply isn't relevant. Holding on to the idea of a site that is not performing simply because you like its design or want to stick with a certain provider is only going to drain you of time, energy, and resources. I am going to give you the most simple and straightforward way to get done what you want.
